We can’t wait to see who will join us for the 32nd New Zealand Opera School in Whanganui. It will be a special School with so much to celebrate!
Apply to attend NZOS 2027
Please complete this application form to apply for the 2027 New Zealand Opera School.
21 students will be chosen to participate in the School from Sunday 3rd January until Sunday 17th January 2027. The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 31st July 2026.
Please note, due to funding requirements at this time the NZ Opera School is only open to New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents over 18 years of age.
Attendance fees
Fees for NZ Opera School 2027 are $1,500.00 and must be paid prior to attending. A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is payable upon acceptance into the NZ Opera School.
Sending audio and video files
The application process requires you to submit video and/or audio files of some of your past performances.
These must be shared with us using Google Drive. Up to 15GB of Google Drive storage is available with any free Google (Gmail) account. Click here to create a Google account if you don’t have one already.
