To coincide with the New Zealand Opera School and Whanganui Opera Week 2019 the Sergeant Gallery will be displaying costumes from NZ Opera’s 2018 production of Puccini’s La Bohème. This display will sit beside the exhibition 125: Celebrating Women from the Collection as the Gallery focusses on the 125th anniversary of the women’s suffrage movement in New Zealand.
The costumes ar kindly lent by New Zealand Opera Limited.
